ADHD Focus Planner (“the app”) is provided by ForgeAI Studio Ltd (trading as NovaStack) (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England & Wales. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Account: your email address (to sign in and sync your data).
• Your content: the text you type into Brain Dump, the tasks, daily plans and focus sessions you create, and milestones you reach.
• Preferences: settings such as your optional reminder time (stored on your device).

Information created as you use the app

• Usage events: which features you use, so we can improve the app.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active trial/subscription (handled by our payments provider — we never see or store your card details).
• Diagnostics: if crash reporting is enabled in a build, anonymised crash/error data.

We do not collect contacts, photos, precise location, or health records.

2. How your Brain Dump text is processed by AI

When you ask the app to turn a brain dump into steps, the text you entered is sent securely (over encrypted connections) to our AI provider, Anthropic, through our own server, which returns the ordered steps. This text is processed only to generate your plan. Our AI provider does not use this content to train its models. We don’t use your content to build advertising profiles, and we never sell it.

3. Why we use your data (legal bases, UK GDPR)

• To provide the app (sync your content, generate plans) — performance of a contract.
• To keep it secure and improve it — our legitimate interests.
• Optional reminders / analytics where required — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings or your device settings.

4. Who processes data on our behalf (sub-processors)

• Supabase — secure database, authentication and storage hosting.
• Anthropic — AI processing of brain-dump text (see §2).
• RevenueCat — subscription management (no card details reach us).
• Apple App Store / Google Play — app distribution and payments.
• Sentry (only if enabled in a build) — crash diagnostics.

Each acts under contract and only processes data to provide their service to us. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your associated data is deleted. Backups are cycled out on a rolling basis.

6. Your rights

• Access & export — Settings → Export my data.
• Delete your account and data — Settings → Delete account.
• Rectify information by editing it in the app.
• Object to / restrict processing, or withdraw consent for optional features.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To exercise any right, email support@novastacks.co.uk.

7. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Your content is protected by row-level security so that only your account can read or write it. We restrict internal access and follow reasonable technical and organisational measures.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we’ll remove it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We’ll change the “Effective date” above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
